Berlin's CulTouren

Berlin disposes more than a 150 museums and memorial sights, without counting the great variety of exhibitions in galleries. One finds several mu-
seums at a single location, for instants at the „Museumsinsel“ in “Mitte”, at the “Kulturforum” in “Tiergarten” or at the “Museen Dahlem”.

There is no summer break: During the " Berliner Museumssommer", a top quality program with Open Air events, concerts and theatre performances finds place in museums, castles and gardens during July and August.

A very special event is the “Lange Nacht der Museen” (long night of the museums), which takes place once in the winter and once in the summer. More than 100 museums are open until midnight and offer special guided tours and events.

Our tip: On Mondays, many museums are closed, but there are also excep-
tions. Therefore, it’s advised to enquire by phone or look up the opening times in the event magazines “Tipp” or “Zitty”.
