Conditions of Cancellation for Individual Travellers

Reservations:

Reservations that are made by e-mail, fax or regular mail are legal, binding contracts. Such bookings can only be made by persons of legal age or by those with a written statement of consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Confirmation of Reservations:

Confirmation of reservations will be sent by e-mail, regular mail or fax. A confirmation is legally binding and valid even without a signature.

Cancellation of Travel Arrangements:

For cancellations made at least three months prior to the travel departure date, no charges will be invoiced. Unless otherwise specified in the travel agreement, cancellations made from one to three months prior to the travel departure date will be billed a fee of 20% of the total price of the travel agreement. All other cancellations made during the remaining interval until the travel departure date will be billed at 70% of the total price of the travel contract. Furthermore, the total price of the travel agreement must be paid in full even if you should choose to terminate your trip earlier than the final day specified in the contract. The full price of the travel agreement must also be paid even though you may not have claimed the contracted accomodations and services, for example due to illness or other hinderances. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase a private travel cancellation insurance policy.

Conditions of Cancellation for Groups
(10 persons or more)

Conditions of Payment:

Unless otherwise agreed, 20% of the total contract price is due and must be transferred to our account as a booking guaranty within 14 days after the contract has been validated.

An additional 30% of the total contract price must be remitted at least two months prior to the travel departure date, and the remainder is to be remitted on the day when the trip begins.

Travel Cancellations:

No fees will be invoiced if cancellations are received at least three months prior to the scheduled departure date. Thereafter, cancellations made at least two months in advance of this date will be billed a fee of 20%, and cancellations received during the remaining interval up to one day prior to departure date will be billed at 70% of the total travel agreement price.

Furthermore, the full travel agreement price must be paid in instances where contracted accommodations and services are not claimed due to non-arrival. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase a private travel cancellation insurance policy since cancellation fees also apply, for example, to individual persons who are unable to join the group as a result of illness or other hinderances.

Emergency Spare-Bed Regulations:

If necessary or desired, individuals may also be accomodated in so-called emergency spare-beds. Merely the costs for breakfast and for the laundry of bedding amounting to 9.50 EUROs per overnight will be charged for this type of accomodation. All persons who overnight in this manner must expressly agree to the emergency spare-bed conditions.

Contract Validity:

This contract shall become valid only when we have received it, legally signed.
Reservations of accomodations will not be made if the conditions specified above have not been observed. Moreover, the enclosed youth hostel regulations are an integral part of this contract. Before embarking on the tour, all participants must be made aware of these regulations.
